Obtaining a Copy of a Record
South King Fire & Rescue is committed to providing the public full access to public records in accordance with the WA State Public Records Act, referenced in Chapter 42.56. Inspection and copying of records is available by appointment during our normal office hours, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
To obtain records, please complete a request form and email, mail or fax the form. Please note that there is a fee associated with a request for incident reports.
Required Information
Incident Report requests will require the following information:
- Fire or other non-medical incidents:
- Date and approximate time of incident
- Address of incident
- Type of incident (house fire, water problem, etc.)
- Medical incident (obtained by the patient in person):
- Date of incident
- Address of incident
- Patient name with picture ID
All other medical incident requests must have the appropriate release documentation available. For more information, please contact the Public Records Officer.
